Part time Exmoor Pony Centre Assistant

To assist the Exmoor Pony Centre Manager in the smooth running of the Visitor Centre. This will involves, taking rides out, teaching informal sessions in the arena, talking to visitors and general yard duties.

Trustee with Financial Experience -

We currently have seven trustees and are in search of another trustee with financial or accounting experience.

Volunteers Required

The Exmoor Pony Centre has the following voluntary positions available;

Riders

Competent and experienced riders required to;

Exercise young ponies

Lead 2 hour treks on the moor

Instruct informal 'taster' sessions in the school.

Shop

Person with relevant experience required for our small but busy shop.

This will eventually involve stock taking, cashing up, ordering stock, displaying merchandise etc.

All volunteers must be willing to greet and talk to visitors during busy periods.

As a charity, we rely heavily on volunteers. If you would like to offer some time to us on a regular basis, or perhaps you would be prepared to oversee a specific project, we would be pleased to see you. Voluntary work can be anything from sweeping the yard, brushing ponies, organising fundraising events, or administrative work.

We are a small, but happy and dedicated team, who always welcome an extra pair of hands.
